The Appeal Tribune is pleased to accept a digital file of your print-ready
advertisement. We also accept photographs and logos for use in designing
your new advertisements. There is no fee for our design services when
you advertise in our products. For more information about general
advertising, call 503-873-8385 and ask for a sales representative.
Your digital ad file should:
• be a PDF, TIFF, or JPEG file with all fonts embedded
• be of adequate resolution to print in a newspaper (200 dpi for
photographs; 600 dpi for line art and text)
• contain only CMYK (process) colors (if your ad contains color)
• be less than 4 megabytes in total size if you wish to email it
to our office; you can compress it with Zip or Stuffit to make it smaller
if needed
• be emailed to saads@salem.gannett.com
or be mailed to the Appeal Tribune, PO Box 35, 399 S. Water Street, Silverton,
Oregon, 97381, or
• be uploaded to your FTP site, with instructions sent to the Appeal
on its retrieval
• be accompanied by a faxed or mailed copy of the ad for us to proof
against
• be accompanied by your account or business name, the date the ad
is scheduled to run, a contact phone number, and any other pertinent information
Please contact a sales representative to schedule the ad for insertion
in the newspaper before you send your files.
